October 14th 2015 - New Chord Product
Update 10/26 now taking orders for Mojo
Mojo was just launched hours ago at the London Shard.
Based on HUGO technology, the game changing $599 Mojo headphone amp/DAC certainly looks intriguing and like all other Chord products is solidly made in aircraft grade aluminum.
Micro USB and 3.5mm coax are both 768kHz/32 bit. Output power is 720mW into 8 Ohms and 32 mW into 600 Ohms.
Battery life upto 10 hours. Pre order availability not yet announced.
October 6th 2015 - Peter Comeau Interview
Quad is known for their current dumping technology introduced with the 405 amplifier in 1975.
Its extremely low distortion measurements were over an order of magnitude superior to what was available at the time.

June 10th 2015 - New Speaker from Wilson Benesch
The A.C.T. One Evolution has many of the latest engineering break-throughs that distinguishes Wilson Benesch from the usual me-too products.
In this new addition to the Geometry range, the upper midrange and tweeter housed in the separate volume-optimized upper cabinet is acoustically rolled off for a seamless integration
with the lower midrange and bass in the bottom cabinet. The high powered semisphere tweeter is placed at the heart of this midrange formation in a design dubbed "Troika" by Wilson Benesch that was first developed for the flagship Cardinal loudspeaker.
With complete control over the motor, voice coil, and unique isotactic cone material (Wilson Benesch has now produced over 30 variants of it's 7" tactic driver) and minimal cross-over design, new levels of coherence are possible.
Detail retrieval is among the best as Wilson Benesch's Advanced Composite Technology monocoque cabinets offer industry leading stiffness, dampening, resonance control and signal to noise ratio.

May 21st 2015 - CHORD unveils new reference DAC at Munich Show - Update
The Odyssey continues - Hello Dave.
The name may be ordinary but the product certainly is not.
With massive parallel processing - 166 DSP cores just for the WTA filtering now with 164,000 taps - and new 20-element pulse array DAC and unique second order analog noise shaper,
Chord is claiming it is the world's best DAC. Other features include digital preamplifier and advanced headphone output to drive the most difficult headphone impedances.
Production ramp up is several months away, probably late fall.

November 21st 2014 - Kosmo Vinyl Art Opening!
Vinyl was spinning on a sexy red Rega turntable for guests at Kosmo Vinyl's US debut art exhibition opening, presented by VINSONART, at the award-winning Lightroom in Decatur GA.
Kosmo's pop art collages were certainly in tune with the stories we got to hear about while Kosmo ingeniously promoted punk bands like The Clash and Ian Dury and the Blockheads in the UK during the tumultuous Thatcher 70s.

In conjunction with the British Consulate-General Atlanta, kemela hosted a KEF Masters of Sound Event in Atlanta August 13th.
The intimate, invite-only event, included audio discussions with legendary producer Ken Scott and live music from Gillan Welch with David Rawlins, and showcased
British Heritage audio technology from KEF loudspeakers.
Other British Hi-Fi on display inluded REGA Research, Chord Electronics, Chord Company cables, and Quadraspire equipment stands.
