A radically new concept in cable design has been introduced with the latest reference level models. Although audio signals are most often thought of in terms of a voltage waveform, current flow is always involved. Current always flows in a loop and returns to its source favoring the path of least impedance; and therefore influenced by inductance and capacitance.
The Chord Company has always paid particular attention to both the signal and return paths. Chord Company's proprietary "Tuned ARAY" and "Super ARAY" technology is a refinement on the relationship between signal and return paths consisting of an additional conductor of specific length attached to one end of the cable and this gives a dramatic improvement to signal transfer resulting in better tonality and timing.
